FROM I-26 AND THE AIRPORT: * Travel I-26 to the end. * Exit onto US-17 South towards Savannah (for about 1000 yards) * Take the first exit on the right - King Street Downtown * At the stop sign, take a right onto King Street * Follow King Street to Broad Street * Turn right onto Broad Street * The Inn is the 4th house on the right **To get to I-26 from the Airport, take I-526 East to I-26 East and follow the directions above** FROM ALL SOUTHERN ROUTES USING HWY. US-17 NORTH * From I-95 North, take South Carolina exit 33 to US-17 North * Travel on 17 North inot the Charleston city limits and cross the Ashley River Bridge * Stay in the right hand lane on the bridge and take Lockwood Drive South. * Lockwood Drive will curve sharply and become Broad Street * The John Rutledge House is on the left hand side at 116 Broad Street DRIVING SOUTH ON HWY. US-17 * From the city of Mount Pleasant, cross over the Cooper River Bridge * Take the King Street exit from the left lane * At King Street turn right * Drive approximately one and one-half miles on King Street * Turn right on to Broad Street * The Inn is the forth house on the right The John Rutledge House Inn does not provide transportation to/from the airport. There are a number of shuttle services at the exit from the airport to transport guests to the Inn. If you prefer, the Concierge can make arrangements for you. Call 800-476-9741 to speak to a Concierge. Parking is availble in a lot adjacent to the Inn. The cost for parking is $10.00 per night.
